Costa Rica Geography
Costa Rica geography is incredibly interesting. Not only is this country known for its peaceful ways, but it also happens to be situated perfectly within the world.

To the south, it shares a border with Panama and to the north it shares a border with Nicaragua. In total, this country has 1,290 kilometers of coastline. As impressive as Costa Rica geography is, the entire republic is roughly the size of West Virginia.

Most of the land surrounding this area is protected in order to preserve the abundance of natural resources that thrive there. Since most of the climate is tropical, many tropical creatures and plants are home to this portion of the world.
